Cookie Policy
SEAC keeps its cookie use deliberately limited. The cookies currently used by the service are for essential authentication, security and session functions rather than advertising.

The short version: SEAC uses essential cookies to keep accounts secure and sessions working. We do not currently need an “Accept all” banner because we are not intentionally using optional advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies on the public website.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website can ask a browser to store and return on later requests. They are commonly used to keep a user signed in, protect an account, remember limited settings and support normal website or application functionality.
2. What SEAC currently uses
SEAC currently uses essential cookies and related session technologies where they are required for authentication, account security, secure sessions and normal operation of the School Information System.
These technologies are necessary for features such as signing in, remaining signed in while using the service, separating authorised user sessions and protecting access to school information.
3. No advertising-cookie requirement
SEAC does not require advertising cookies, behavioural advertising cookies or cross-site marketing trackers in order to provide its core school-management services.
As of 17 September 2026, SEAC does not intentionally place non-essential advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies on its public website.
4. Why there is no cookie-consent pop-up
Because the cookies currently used by SEAC are limited to essential service and security purposes, SEAC does not display an unnecessary “Accept all cookies” banner merely for appearance.
A consent control will be introduced before optional analytics, advertising or similar non-essential tracking technologies are enabled where consent is required.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers allow users to inspect, block or delete cookies through their privacy or site-data settings. Blocking essential SEAC cookies may prevent sign-in, end an existing session or stop protected parts of the service from working correctly.
6. Third-party services
SEAC may link to or rely on third-party services for functions such as payment processing, hosting, email delivery or other technical services. A third-party website or service may use its own cookies under its own privacy and cookie practices when a user interacts directly with that service.
7. Future analytics or optional tracking
If SEAC later introduces optional analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tools or other non-essential tracking technologies, SEAC will review the applicable consent requirements before enabling them and will update this Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy as appropriate.
8. Relationship with the Privacy Policy
This Cookie Policy should be read together with the SEAC Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how SEAC handles personal information, technical information, account data and school data.
