Moving to SEAC

Bring your existing school records with you.

Moving to a new school system should not mean typing every student again. SEAC can help schools prepare, validate and move existing records into the new school environment before go-live.

Migration process

A controlled move, not a blind upload.

The goal is to know what is being moved, check it before import and verify it afterwards. That reduces surprises when the school starts using SEAC for real work.

01

Share your existing records

We confirm what you already have in Excel, CSV or another export and agree the first migration scope.

02

Review and validate

Columns are mapped, required information is checked and obvious duplicates or data-quality problems are identified before import.

03

Import into your school

Approved records are imported into the correct SEAC school environment using the SIS import workflow.

04

Verify before go-live

SEAC and the school spot-check totals and sample records before the migrated data is treated as ready for live use.

First migration scope

Start with the records needed to operate the school.

Historical results can be handled as a separate migration project where needed. They do not have to delay the first operational go-live.

Students and admission details
Guardians and family links where available
Staff and initial user records
Classes and basic academic structure
Opening fee balances and arrears
The exact migration scope depends on the quality and format of the school's existing records. SEAC confirms the scope before importing live data.
